Bourbon Bacon Jam

Savory or sweet – why choose one when you can have both?

This sweet and savory spread will please everyone at parties throughout the holiday season. Salty, fatty bacon pairs neatly with nourishing veggies and delivers a surprising depth to what was almost a basic THC-infused jam spread.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb Favorite Bacon
  • 1/2 Onion, finely diced
  • 4 Garlic Cloves, finely diced
  • 1 cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Sorghum
  • 2 tbs Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire
  • 1.5 oz Favorite Bourbon
  • 1 tbs Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 3 mL Infused Cannabis Oil

Directions

  1. ​Chop bacon and cook on medium-high heat in a flat skillet, draining the fat once its done.
  2. Add onion and garlic, cook until soft.
  3. Add brown sugar and sorghum, mix well.
  4. Slowly add bourbon and then turn off the heat.
  5. Stir in cannabis oil until the mix is infused evenly.
  6. Add in apple cider vinegar and Worcestershire suace.
  7. Reduce on medium-high heat, stirring until the desired consistency is reached.
  8. Let the mixture cool, and then store in a sealed container in the refridgerator.
