Chef Trev’s Cornbread

Serves: 4-6 | Prep Time: 15 Minutes | Cook Time: 20 Minutes
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Cornmeal
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1 Cup Buttermilk
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 1 Cup Flower
- Two Eggs
- 1 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Tablespoon Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Dark-Brown Sugar
- 3ml Cannabis Infused Oil
Directions
- Add cornmeal, baking powder, flour, salt, dark brown sugar, and sugar into a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, melt butter and set aside.
- In a third bowl, add buttermilk, eggs, and infused oil and mix well.
- Make a hole in the middle of the dry mix and pour the buttermilk mix into the center.
- Gently blend while adding the melted butter.
- Mix until no clumps are visible, do not overmix!
- Lightly grease and flour a cast iron skillet or your choice of baking pan.
- Pour the batter into pan and place in the oven.
- Bake at 400F for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Check doneness with a toothpick, if clean after poking, the cornbread is cooked.
