Classic Hot Chocolate

We hope you’re enjoying the snow! Whether you’re staying inside by the fireplace or bundling up to take a trek through winter wonderland, hot chocolate is a must. We recommend using Leafology’s Hot Chocolate Mix for an infused version of the snow day staple. 

Serves: 1     |     Prep Time:  2 Minutes     |     Cook Time:  5 Minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons hot chocolate powder
  • 1 cup milk/water/coffee
  • Whipped cream or marshmallows (optional)
  • Leafology’s Hot Chocolate Mix (desired amount)

Directions

1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it starts to steam.

2. Add the hot chocolate powder and Leafology’s Hot Chocolate Mix (desired amount) to the saucepan and whisk until completely dissolved.

3. Continue heating until the hot chocolate is warmed through, but do not boil.

4. Pour the hot chocolate into a mug and top with whipped cream or marshmallows if desired. Enjoy!
