Crockpot Bread pudding

Ingredients
- 6 cups cubed day-old bread (such as French bread or brioche)
- 4 large eggs 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup raisins or chopped nuts
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Cinnamon sugar mixture (1/4 cup granulated sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon)
- Leafology’s Sugar & Spice Infused Cinnamon & Sugar Mix (desired amount)
- Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, for serving (optional)
Directions
1. Grease the bottom and sides of the crockpot with cooking spray.
2. Place the cubed bread in the crockpot.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well combined.
4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread cubes in the crockpot. Use a spoon to gently press down on the bread to ensure it’s soaked in the liquid.
5. Sprinkle raisins or chopped nuts over the top of the bread pudding mixture.
6. Drizzle melted butter over the top of the bread pudding mixture.
7. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture (add your desired amount of Leafology’s Cinnamon & Sugar Mix) evenly over the top of the bread pudding.
8. Cover and cook on low heat for 3-4 hours, or until the center is set and the edges are golden brown.
9. Once cooked, turn off the crockpot and let the bread pudding sit for 10-15 minutes before serving.
10. Serve the bread pudding warm, topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
