Amanda Parker

Amanda Parker’s The Break Room in Bryant, is where healing, humor, and hammers collide—no judgment, just release.

Amanda Parker

Amanda Parker is an Arkansas native, entrepreneur, mother and bad ass chick. Born in the late 1900s, Amanda survived downtown Little Rock in the late 90s and graduated from Mount Saint Mary Academy in the year of our Lord 1998. After a gap decade full of adventure, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from UALR (#foreverUALR #neverUALittleRock) in Anthropology and is a Certified Nonprofit Professional. After accepting that her grandmother was right about never using her degree professionally, Amanda started down the path of “Sure, why not?” that produced a motley crew of opportunities and experiences. Amanda took the knowledge she acquired through her studies and experiences to help restore some faith in humanity and the trades with her first business, Cecil & Parker Painting, LLC. Though successful, she felt there was a higher purpose for her post-COVID and after years of research and planning, she opened The Break Room in Saline County in the summer of 2024 to provide a space for us all to let it all out without judgement. When not working or attempting to raise a future adult, Amanda likes to relive the golden age of wrestling, disassociate with loud music, drink the tears of her enemies, and serve various causes and nonprofits in Central Arkansas, most recently joining the board of directors at The Van.

The Break Room is a supportive and inclusive space for all persons to be, feel, and process all the emotions and experiences that we individually and collectively go through. Opened in August of 2024, The Break Room has been a space for every person and every experience – celebrating milestones, building relationships, processing grief, trauma, stress, and even team building amongst coworkers.

Stepping into The Break Room is like stepping into a time capsule from your Generation X raising. From the plate wall in grandma’s corner to the poster-covered doors, you’ll feel right at home no matter your “decade” except that here you ARE expected to be SEEN and HEARD!

Located in Bryant, Arkansas, The Break Room does all the hard work and heavy lifting for you by providing safety gear, smashing utensils, and all the breakable items for your session. The Break Room is committed to making each and every session is exactly what it needs to be for the participant(s) so appointments and waivers are required (we do it Judge Judy style here), so check yo self before you wreck yo self, foo.

The Break Room is open 6 days a week from 2 pm to 8pm Tuesdays through Thursdays and Sundays, and from 2 pm to 9 pm Fridays and Saturdays. The minimum age for participants is 13 years old with 16+ being able to participate without adult supervision. This summer, The Break Room will be launching a 12 and under program to help the little humans facilitate energy and emotions somewhere other than your walls or new leather seats.

No matter what you need a break from, The Break Room has a space for you!
